They are excited to commence a partnership with Waikato based electricity provider to deliver a range of services across their network in the Waikato District on the North Island of Aotearoa.

Their scope will involve the design, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of new electricity infrastructure across a growing network.

They are currently seeking an experienced Capital Works Project Manager to lead this project and be part of their well-established Electrical Services Team in the North Island!

About the Role

This role will be based in Hamilton and will see you working closely with an experienced group of Electricians, Project Managers and Estimators. You will be responsible for a variety of work including planning programmes of work, all health and safety documentation and site auditing, quality documentation collation and completion with site supervisor assistance.

This role will also require management of financials for the projects and monthly forecasting, and the management of multi-skilled teams.  

Other requirements:

  •    A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience managing multiple projects and with a preference to HV Distribution (Construction Electrical) work.
  •    Experiencing management of project financials
  •    Client facing exposure on longer term projects
  •    Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  •    Be organised and a self-starter
  •    Electrical industry experience

Your strong customer service skills and your ability to build rapport with the clients are also key to your success in this role.
