Here's a bit about what you can expect from this role:

• Collaborate with other leaders in the Engineering team to mentor, recruit and onboard technical team members.
• Be a respected technical leader and the sponsor for the Company's strategic initiatives within the teams that you work with.
• Facilitate complex technical and architectural designs in teams.
• Work with product managers during the discovery phase to help with feasibility, capacity, and risk management of classifieds roadmap.
• Influence and shape our technical roadmap, and engineering practices and support our delivery teams to enhance their development practices.
• Work with remote teams to help plan and execute work, ensuring code quality standards are met.
• Foster an inclusive environment and actively promote diverse thought amongst the wider team.
• Lead by example by demonstrating our Company values in the way you operate.

What you'll bring to our team:

• A strong, values-led leader that is passionate about motivating and developing others
• Experience in all aspects of a continuous delivery; modern software architecture patterns and development best practices
• Strategic thinking and the ability to plan ahead and develop future-focused engineering initiatives, in line with leading software development practices
• Strong software development skills and experience in languages and frameworks primarily used (.NET and C#) or transferable experience in other similar languages and frameworks like Java
• Strong software development skills in front end frameworks and languages, primarily Typescript and Angular, or other similar frontend technologies like React.
• Experience in automation and maintaining healthy build pipelines.* Experience working with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure etc).
