Director of Media

Marketing, Media & Comminications

This employer is looking for someone to lead their Media Team - who shares their values, demonstrates the curiosity and drive required to thrive, and wants to learn & grow in a fast-moving environment.


You’ll be working with a diverse team of fun-loving, problem-solvers on some great clients, and across the full spectrum of marketing automation, digital media, search and analytics, design and content. Partner closely with their team of multi-award winning and world-class creative thinkers, collaborate with their technology teams and solve some fascinating problems with their client consulting team.

  • Lead and manage the Media team, developing compelling value propositions
  • Co-design marketing strategies & tactics that help clients exceed their marketing objectives

  • Broad knowledge and hands on experience of Google search and Search Ads 360 (GMP)
  • Understanding of agency workflow and core professional service processes
  • Intermediate Excel skills, experience with analyzing data-sets and delivering actionable insights
  • Ability to manage multiple search marketing campaigns across clients while maintaining strict attention to details
  • Capability around analytic platforms, reporting tools, attribution including cross media, cross platform, multi session modeling
  • Ability to present client dashboards and results that help build ongoing client relationships
  • Providing clear, transparent and persuasive communication with the client at all times, to ensure clients are confident in the work being delivered and the value it provides
  • Exceptional active listening skills, to help accurately identify client search marketing needs and opportunities to help clients grow
  • Agency commercial acumen & ability to work with Pegasus or timesheet software equivalent
  • Time management, prioritisation and self drive , quality execution and solid note taking.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills


  • A bachelor degree in Commerce, Media and/or Marketing related subjects
  • Experienced team leader and manager; ability to build high performing teams
  • Experience with negotiating, planning, buying and execution/optimisation of media and use of data in media - core competency in understanding Google and Meta ecosystems preferred
  • Have the ability to be technologically adept, in order to lead the department into the adoption of the most suitable ad technology tools, platforms and processes
  • Pipeline, workflow and tracking of client revenue and marketing projects
  • Facilitation, workshop coordination and planning capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience within relevant industries (either client side or agency side) - Key categories Financial Services, Wealth, Automotive, Real Estate & Property Development
