What is an Accredited Employer and how can you find one?
If you can get a job offer from an Accredited Employer the visa application process will be a lot easier for you.
Accredited Employers
New Zealand employers who need to regularly recruit skilled overseas workers can apply to become accredited.
This will allow them to employ skilled migrant workers without first having to do a Labour market test to check if any New Zealanders can do the work.
What does this mean for you?
Talent Work and Resident Visas
If an accredited employer offers you full-time work, you may be eligible for a Talent Work Visa.
This visa is great for people who are looking for a pathway to live in New Zealand and who have a skill that is needed by a New Zealand accredited employer.
With a Talent Work Visa, you can work in New Zealand for the accredited employer who offers you work.
You can’t include a partner or dependent children in your work visa application, but they can apply for visas based on their relationship to you.
After you have worked in New Zealand for an accredited employer for more than 2 years, you may be eligible for a Talent Resident Visa
