New Zealand Immigration Concepts Ltd was founded in 1994 in Nelson, New Zealand, and has since assisted countless migrants of many nationalities and countries of origin to sucessfully settle in New Zealand.

In 2007 - acknowledging the importance for any immigrant of finding employment in New Zealand, we established our Job Search Facility jobs4migrants - a Jobsearch Service for Skilled Migrants - and never looked back.

Dr. Carsten Hallwass, Director

Licensed New Zealand Immigration Adviser

Bachelor of Law and Doctor of Law

University of Kiel, Germany

Carsten is holding a full licence to operate as a registered Immigration Adviser under the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007 - Licence Number 200900212.

Before migrating to New Zealand with his family in 1994, Carsten had studied Law and completed his thesis. He worked as a corporate solicitor and was partner in a law firm in Germany from 1988 to 1994.

Carsten is a passionate soccer player. Since his arrival in New Zealand he has been coaching a junior soccer team and continues to be a keen supporter of his home club Werder Bremen.

Carsten speaks English and German.

 

 

Martina Könnecke-Hallwass, Director

Bachelor of Law

University of Kiel, Germany

Before migrating to New Zealand with her family in 1994, Martina had worked as a solicitor in her own law firm in Germany since 1987.

Martina enjoys travelling, the outdoors, tramping and spending time with her adult children.

Martina speaks English and German.

 

Julia Cooke, Licensed New Zealand Immigration Adviser

Certificates in Management, Business Administration, Business & Finance and Communications, UK

Julia is holding a full licence to operate as a registered Immigration Adviser under the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007 - Licence Number 200901849.

Julia immigrated to Nelson, New Zealand with her young family from Hereford, UK in 2007.  Her memories of her own migration are still very much alive and she is enthusiastic about supporting other migrants with their move to New Zealand. Julia is specialising in working with immigrants from the UK and South Africa.

Julia enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and reading. This summer she completed the Buller Half Marathon.

 

 

Wendy Bee, Office Manager

National Diploma in Business Administration Level 5, National Certificate in First Line Management Level 4 - Associate Member of the Association of Administrative Professionals NZ Inc. (AAPNZ)

Wendy was born in Australia. She came to New Zealand on a 2 weeks holiday and decided to stay. Wendy is married to a New Zealander and has two adult sons. She brings extensive experience in all aspects of office management and administration to our team, having worked in a number of managerial positions in New Zealand in previous years. Her professional and at the same time friendly approach is valued by NZIC clients and other team members.

Wendy´s interests include geo-caching, walking and gym work. In January she successfully completed the Buller Half Marathon.

Katrin Schottke, Manager

Masters of Social Science, M.Soc.Sc.

University of Rostock, Germany

Katrin has several years of work experience as a Social Worker in Germany. Since moving to New Zealand in 2002 she has worked in a variity of positions: as caregiver, in customer services, as office manager and real estate salesperson, thus gaining a broad spectrum of work experience in New Zealand.

Katrin is absolutely passionate about her role as Job Search Service Manager with jobs4migrants and has successfully assisted many clients with their jobsearch.

Katrin enjoys the Great Outdoors - tramping, skiing, cycling, running - as well as music and literature.
